Let your inner child out.

Kid nowadays don’t have what we had when we were kids. Sure, the quality of life is considered better, but you know what they don’t have, GOOD CARTOONS. Growing up in the 80s and early 90s, I was spoiled with great cartoons, one of those being Transformers. There’s been talk about making a Transformers movie for awhile now, so when I heard that they gave it the greenlight, I was excited beyond words.

The weekend the movie came out, I was there, ready to see it. I sat down in my seat with my friend and let the journey begin. Now, like most movies these days, Transformers has some corny parts. A movie of this magnitude is meant for everyone, so there is a moment or two where the movie is meant for kid humor, but for the most part it is a really well done movie. I remember watching the movie and there’s this one moment where the Autobots are coming down to earth. At that moment, my heart began to beat faster, my blood was rising, and a huge smile crossed my face. The little kid inside me had completely taken over. I could barely contain myself, I almost jumped out of my seat. However, somehow I managed to sit still for the rest of the movie, which was very hard for me because from that point on, you’re hooked. No matter what your job is or what stress life puts on you, from the moment the Autobots land to the ending credits, you are completely lost in the film.

When the movie ends, there is only a couple things on your mind: Bumble Bee is cool and Optimus Prime is the GREATEST EVER!

Transformers is a great movie that most people can enjoy. It does have some problems though. Sometimes they cut too much during some of the action and it makes it hard for the viewer to see exactly what is going on, but it’s not that bad, nothing like Bourne Ultimatum.

All I really can say is Transformers was amazing and I can’t wait for the GiJoe movie.
