Movie reviews: The Transformers (2007) – Part 28

I am a HUGE Transformer and sci-fi fan and I must say I enjoyed the Transformer movie! One warning I must give to any fellow Transformer fan before seeing the movie…remove all preconceived ideas of what the movie should be like from your mind and you will enjoy the movie! It may be difficult to do BUT try not to get caught up comparing the movie to the comic book as they are two different experiences. The movie is VERY realistic. Also keep in mind this is the “introductory movie” so there is some slow movement at the beginning of the movie similar to the first Spiderman movie where they spent time introducing the characters and spent time making you fall in love with the characters BEFORE all the excitement began. I am highly awaiting the sequel, yes there appears to be talks of sequels and I hope a prequel follows which will follow more closely to the cartoon. The voice of Optimus Prime gave me chills, they had the voice of the orginal Optimus Prime from the cartoon! Overall I rate the movie a 10 as it was the best movie I have seen ALL year! www.offyourchestnow.com
