More than meets the eye: Anticipating the release of the Transformers movie – Part 10

Transformers the movie? This is surely going to be a box office hit! I remember my childhood days, just awaiting the show-times for the cartoon on TV and even collecting action figures, which I still have by the way. The Autobots versus Deceptacons war always strikes some sort of anxiousness within kids (even myself) which was always action packed with a bit of suspense and thrill. Even when the generation two and three series hit television i.e. Beast Wars and then Beast Machines, kids were always attracted to it. The link between robots and cars, then robots and animals etc. must be a main attraction for a kid. It is targeted towards the “younger” generation which would certainly make it popular. Heck, it is even an attraction for me and I’m an adult!

Personally I can’t wait! I can’t wait to see the storyline they would take for this movie and the characters they would include. It’s limitless. This movie has quite a lot of characters, similar to the X-men. This movie would surely cost a lot to produce due to the amount of characters present and the complexity of the role of each character. If the movie producers did a good job, it would certainly stand out. Take for instance, when The Fast and Furious was released initially, it stirred up a lot of attraction, everyone was eager to see this movie just for the cars. So you could imagine a car/robot combination show! It would be overwhelming! Certainly would be more than meets the eye!
